Professional musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, music director, and educator with over 40 years of experience across a wide range of musical genres. Specializing in composition, arranging, recording, and music production, I have performed at countless shows, events, festivals, and venues throughout the USA, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. My Journey
During the ’80s and ’90s, I performed as an artist, clinician, and product specialist for Ensoniq, Korg USA, and the Roland Corporation—three of the world’s leading manufacturers of synthesizers, digital samplers, professional guitar equipment, and cutting-edge recording technology. I composed product demos, conducted clinics, published articles, and appeared in instructional videos for various high-tech product releases.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with and performing for renowned musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Oscar Peterson, REO Speedwagon, Keith Emerson, Dennis DeYoung, Chuck Leavell, Jordan Rudess, Jack Hotop, Lance Abair, and many other incredible artists and composers.
The Present
I own and operate David Zeltner Productions, a digital audio production studio, and serve as Artist in Residence and Music Director for StoneBridge Church Community in Charlotte, NC. While I’ve had the joy of performing, writing, and producing music over the years, my greatest production by far has been with my amazing wife, Karen—the blessing of our incredible children, Justin and Kailee!
